Terms of service

The agreement

These terms cover your use of Wird at wird.alburaqlabs.com and as an installed app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not create one.

Your account

You need a working email address, or a Google account, and you must be at least 13. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think somebody else has got into it.

What you write

Your tasks, room names, notes, events and journal entries stay yours. You give us only what is needed to run the service: storing them, showing them back to you, and showing to the people in your room the parts the app says they can see.

You are responsible for what you write, and for having the right to write it.

Rooms, and running one

Anyone can make a room and invite people with its code. Whoever runs a room decides what is on its list and who gets in, and can rotate the code, hand the room over, or delete it. Deleting a room deletes its tasks, its badges and its members’ progress in it, and that cannot be undone.

If you run a room, the people in it are trusting you with a shared space. Do not use it to harass anybody, and do not put anything in it you would not want a member to read.

Fair use

Do not:

• Break into other people’s accounts or rooms, or try to read data the app does not show you.
• Interfere with the service — flooding it with requests, probing it, or trying to work around its limits.
• Forge progress. Points, levels, streaks and badges are all worked out on the server; attempting to write them directly is grounds for closing the account.
• Post anything unlawful, hateful, or sexual, or anything that harasses somebody, into a room other people share.

Coins and what they buy

Coins are earned by finishing days and earning badges. They cannot be bought with money, they have no cash value, they cannot be transferred or refunded, and everything they buy is cosmetic — a character, a frame, a background, a companion, a title. None of it changes your score or your place on any leaderboard.

What we promise, and what we do not

We run this carefully and we take backups. We do not promise it will never be unavailable, never lose anything, or suit any particular purpose. It is provided as it is.

It is not a medical, financial, legal or spiritual advisor, and nothing in it is advice. What you choose to put on your list is your decision.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything beyond what you have paid us — which today is nothing.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why where we can. We may also stop offering the service, with notice and enough time to get your data out.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did, and material changes will be announced in the app.
